Lindy went to MUN at 16 returned home as Math teacher 4 years later, designed and built 618 fiberglass expedition sea kayaks. He needed a place for buyers try my kayaks so he groomed a beach , just outside town, and built a boathouse. Soon realized that he needed more space. The elementary school was closed, designated to be demolished so he bought it, took two years and picked it apart board by board. Used the material to build a 9 room southern plantation style lodge because there was nowhere for people to stay in town.
