Tell Staycationers a little about how you got started in the tourism industry. I live in Cull’s Harbour near Glovertown and came to Greenspond 16 years ago for a visit. The view of the ocean and how nice the people were reeled me in hook line and sinker. Shortly after that we purchased an old 2 storey house and restored it. Eight years ago I retired and quickly became bored and I was looking for a new project. When the former schoolhouse came up on tender we put a bid in on it and the rest is history. In July of 2019 we opened a 90 seat restaurant and a hotel with six condo rentals that we rent nightly. I live in Greenspond in the summer months and am available 24/7.
