The Hodge Premises Inn offers a nostalgic return to yesteryear. Wake up with the sounds of sea birds and waves lapping on the shoreline… As one of Twillingate’s oldest heritage buildings, it proudly offers 7 distinctive guest rooms. Imagine the days when this was a bustling business, trading in salt fish, flour, nails and coffee with schooners loading and off-loading, moored across the harbour. The Hodge Premises has never lost its charm and today it is a welcoming modern inn and also home to the Blue Barrel Gallery & Coffee Shop with its own street entrance. Two spacious rooms with private entrances at ground level provide easy access if you are concerned about stairs. Five more spacious, finely appointed guest rooms are upstairs with their own shared guest lounge.’ In 2021, Hodge Premises Inn was awarded the National Trust Cornerstone Award for transformative heritage restoration as a conversion that “features careful work by the owners to balance continuity with transformation.”
